Content policy

What we cover

Board games with tactical combat, dark fantasy themes, horror atmospheres, economic realism, and competitive aggression are all fair game. We play, review, and happily promote titles like Gloomhaven, Spirit Island, Brass: Birmingham, Blood Rage, and Mansions of Madness.

What we do not promote

• Games built around sensual, sexual, or nudity-forward content.
• Games whose central appeal is explicit humor targeting adult content (Cards Against Humanity and its clones).
• Games built around glorifying occult ritual as a core theme — judged case by case; horror atmosphere is different from occult practice.

How we handle borderline titles

Our editors apply judgment at the game level. A horror theme is not an exclusion. A game that uses tarot imagery is not automatically out. A game whose selling point is sensual art is out. We write short content notes on every game page so you can decide for your own table.
