Dune: Imperium Uprising
Deck-building meets worker placement on Arrakis, now with spies and sandworms.
What it is
A standalone follow-up to Dune: Imperium for one to four players, or six in teams. Your deck decides where your agents can go, and rounds build toward fights over the current conflict. Spies let you slip onto spaces a rival already holds, and a sandworm adds strength and doubles the rewards of a win. We think it suits players who want deck-building and worker placement in one tense game, with a taste for combat.
What we love
- Spies get around the usual one-agent-per-space limit
- Sandworms hit hard, but take real effort to reach
- Works with the original game's expansions
Honest trade-offs
- A higher skill floor than the original
- Plays one to four or six, with no five-player mode
- Guidance for mixing in older cards is vague
AI summary of player sentiment
