Fluxx
A card game where the rules, and even the way to win, change as you play.
What it is
A chaotic card game for 2 to 6, perfect for anyone who finds ordinary rules a bit too settled. It starts simply: draw one card, play one card. New Rule cards then change how many you draw, play or hold, and Goal cards change which Keepers you need to win. A game can end in five minutes or run to thirty, and you rarely know which until it happens.
What we love
- Simple start: draw one, play one
- Fluxx 5.0 sticks to four card types: Keepers, Goals, Actions and New Rules
- Dozens of themed editions to choose from
Honest trade-offs
- Very high luck, and a game can end on a random draw
- Skip Stoner Fluxx and Drinking Fluxx, adult editions that fall outside our content policy
- Chaos is the point, so planners may get frustrated
