Guess Who?
Yes or no questions, 24 faces and one mystery person.
What it is
Each player secretly picks one of 24 characters, then you take turns asking yes or no questions about the other's choice. Flip down every face that no longer fits, and the first to name the right person wins. It suits a parent and child, or two kids on a rainy afternoon. It began life in Dutch as Wie is het?, from Theo and Ora Coster.
What we love
- Flipping down faces is half the fun for small hands.
- Kids slowly learn that a good question rules out half the board.
- Setup is close to nothing.
Honest trade-offs
- Strictly two players.
- Older kids soon learn the best questions, and the games start to feel the same.
