Our review

A fun game for 2 to 5 people, perfect for a family that wants one long story on the calendar. It is a campaign of twelve games whose rules and components change as you go. Routes no longer score on their own, so you chase coins, tickets and company bonuses instead. Whoever finishes last holds the caboose and removes an event card between sessions.

What works

  • Each game brings surprises best left unread.
  • New rules arrive as stickers for the rulebook, so the book grows with the campaign.
  • Each group's choices leave a lasting mark on its own copy.

Worth knowing

  • You need the same people for twelve sessions.
  • Later games run longer, with the box listing up to 90 minutes.
  • The map grows as you play, so it needs a big table by the end.
